Heres an update for everyone that helped me or is just wondering how my pit, Isis, is doing.She has come around so much faster than i had previously thought. i think that our boys have helped out a lot!! we have three boys. ages are 1, 2, and 3. they just sit around (or lay on) her and just pet her and love on her all day long! She is still pretty skittish around lound noises and hides while we are gone. our trips to the grocery store always has rewards for her and are as short as i can make them. we reward her and love her and talk gently to her as much as possible. She has quite a way to go still, but the progress has really stunned me. She is actually wagging her tail at us again and licking the boys hands!! usually a dog licking is not allowed in our house because of an infection my middle son had gotten from a dog licking his hand, but this is a great sign for us.

I just want to thank everyone AGAIN and AGAIN that helped us get our baby girl back home. (she is my girl. although a furry one, she is still the only other girl in my house besides me! lol) She doesnt shy away completely when we feed her. the boys feed her and she slowly sneaks over to eat. she is family and we were so sad and heartbroken without her. we did adopt her from a lady who had put her on craigslist. we did pay a fee and it has been worth every penny.

Craigslist is a great place to find a pet. Beware though. people dont always abide by the rules. the dogs on here people try to sell for 300 or more are ridiculous. i wish i had updated pics but i dont. i will get some later.
