Please, I am pleading for help from anyone....I live in new orleans, Louisiana and I work at Tulane University and have been parking in the same area for 10 years. The day of the sugar bowl, I parked in my normal parking area, but on Jan 04, 2011 there was a lot of Arkansas Razorback fans tailgating in the immediate vicinity on Canal street in a parking lot. I parked my car (a silver toyota 4Runner) to go to work at 9am and by the time I left work at 330pm my personalized plate was stolen from my car!!! I had that plate for over 10 years and it really meant something to me, and someone stole it. I had it secured to my vehicle with allen screws, so the thief was traveling with a set of allen wrenches. Now, please don't get me wrong, I am not accusing Razorback fans of a theft, I am only trying to cover all bases and narrow down who may have stolen my plate. I am only posting here because the only thing that was different in the past 10 years was that on the day of the theft Jan 04, 2011 there was an overwhelming amount of Razorback fans in the immediate vicinity of where I have parked for 10 years. I can only assume that someone thought it was cool, and thought it would be nice (or cool) to steal my plate and hang it up in their house/room/ frat house. See picture below, my plate read "RATLUVR". I am absolutely broken hearted the someone could be so cruel. I am offering a reward of more than $100 for the return of my plate. I had to report it stolen to the New Orleans Police Department and once a plate is reported stolen (unless found) I can NEVER have that word again. Please if someone can imagine how much it meant to me, please get the word out that my plate may be in a Arkansas frat house/dorm room/etc. I just can't believe someone would come visit a city and then steal from the residents. No questions will be asked if you find or return my plate. See picture below to see how much the plate meant to me.
