Please help us if you can!!! We were taking our two grandsons on an Easter vacation from Monterey to Palm Springs, and when we arrived, the duffle bag suitcase with all of their favorite clothes was not in the back of our pick-up truck! They are heartsick at loosing their favorite clothes. We are unsure if this heavy bag could have blown out...it seems very unlikely, or it if was stolen when we made our one and only stop at the Pilot Gas Station at Lost Hills, where highways 46 and 5 meet. A smaller black backpack with misc. items is also missing. We are offering a $200 reward for the return of the items. NO QUESTIONS ASKED AT ALL!!! If you have seen any of the items, please contact us for the reward. We just want our belongings back, to make our grandsons happy by getting their clothing back. Thank you for any help you can offer.
Some of the clothes are for a boy, age 10, size medium. Several pairs of swim shorts, basketball style shorts, swimming rash guard shirts, and T-shirts. Most were Tony Hawk and surfing style brands, from Kohl's department store. There was a sweatshirt style jacket with a lime green trim, underwear, and sox.
The rest of the clothes are for a boy, age 13, size large. Several black t-shirts, long shorts, swimming rash guard shirts, jeans, sox, underwear, and a very distinct red hooded sweatshirt that says "Carmel Wrestling" on it in white letters.
The smaller black backpack just had a variety of misc. items, both personal and household things. Once again, any help is so very much appreciated, and the reward stands with absolutely no questions asked, and your privacy will be secure. Thank you for any help you can offer. The truck we were driving is a black Chevy Silverado with a diamond-plate toolbox. We drove 101 south from Monterey to 46, stopped at the Pilot Station, then took 5 to the 210, to the 10 into Palm Springs, where we discovered the suitcase was missing. We really don't believe it blew out, but if it did, maybe someone found it and would be interested in the reward. Even if someone stole it, when they discovered it was filled only with children's clothes, maybe they would like to return it and take the reward we are offering, no questions asked.
The suitcase is a duffle bag style, in shades of gray with a bit of orange trim on it. It is not the greenish color like the pictures seem to show. It is made by High Sierra.
Please help us find our grandkids clothes that are their favorite ones! That's why they had picked them out to take on vacation, and now in a moment, they are all gone. Its just so sad for them.
