Eleven of my ferrets were taken from me in Florida and brought to Alabama. I'm told they were sold by someone with a red truck and lives in the Spanish Fort area, though one of the thieves was renting a condo in Daphne, AL at the time they were stolen - Tuesday, September 7, 2010 while I was at work. He and the person who helped him now live in Irvington. I am also told that one of the stolen ferrets was "accidentally" killed by being slammed from a truck door, then it was thrown away like a piece of trash. Five were female, six were male. Two of the females were dark-colored, one of whom was more of a chocolate color. Two were golden, one of whom was adrenal and older - she needs medical attention. One was all white. The males: three were dark-colored, one is deaf and white, one is white with a black spot on his nose, and some silver on his back and tail; the last male has some silver on his head, and about halfway down his tail it's silver. They are still dearly missed and not forgotten. My heart aches, and if you have one and know you have one of my babies - or know someone who does - please contact me. My "Missing Ferrets" page on Facebook has all the pictures and two videos of them. Please look there and contact me immediately. Thank you.
