Adult, black, male, toy poodle stolen from Woodland Drive in Scottsboro on November 28. My daughter and I were at home when this happened. I did not recognize you or your vehicle and decided you must be a salesperson. You are an older person with wrinkles. I saw you. You took your hooded overcoat off and wrapped our dog in it...you also took his chain. I got to the window in time to see this but didn't make it to the door in time to stop your crime. When we got in tonight from our church, Christmas program my precious 9 yr. old daughter wrapped her arms around our column on our porch, with her little head bent down just staring so sadly at his empty little dog house. I asked her if she was okay. She told me I could go on in, that she wanted to stay there for a moment. I asked her if she was praying over his little house, she said, "Mom, I just wish he would come home. I miss him." How could you do this to my child whom I love with all my heart? Do you have children or grandchildren? How would you feel if the situation was reversed? Would you want someone to do this to you? Know this....your identity is known....we filed a police report....we just don't want to press charges. You need to bring him back home before too many more days pass. My patience are running out.
