My car was recently broken in to and multiple things were stolen. Nothing was of any re-sale value, but was extremely valuable/sentimental to me. I imagine that once the thieves realize this they'll ditch everything somewhere (ie. side of road, dumpster etc.). I am in the process of moving, so I threw the last load of my things in the nearest available containers --which happened to be Christmas bags-- and this is probably why the idiot thieves thought the stuff was worth busting out my back window. Items lost included:

Thick teal knit scarf
Teal paisley-print scarf
Teal and gold hoop earrings
Feather earrings
Purple and gold disk earrings
Electric knife set
Rapala fishing filet knife/sharpener kit
Box of cookies
Brand new, still in the box, Women's white Giro bike helmet (the only thing worth anything, damit!)
Cranberry Spice Body lotion set
Cardinals world series champion mousepad
Starbucks coffee gift set (bag of coffee/mug/etc)
Black ruffle Gap tank top
Black bag of various make-up products
...and other little things I can't think of now

I don't really expect to recover any of these items, but hope that maybe by putting this out in to the universe someone out there will notice a sparkly Christmas bag or two with stuff in it in their trashcan/dumpster/on the road and I'll get back at least one thing from this list. The robbery occured on the corner of 3rd and Booker, a block behind Pizza D's.

PS: To my dear thieves: I only wish I could've seen your faces when you got your loot from my car home and you suddenly realized that busting out my window wasn't worth the price of cutting your hand. Also, for all the rummaging through my car that you did, you missed the $175 ray-bans in the door and my neighbor's various tools/ladders sitting outside next to his house. You really are a petty, stupid criminal. Thanks for leaving that blood on my car/the ground for the police to find!
