I just wanted to let you all know that Octavius (my 8mth old German Rottweiler) is finally back at home with his mommy! He had been missing for almost 2mths. He came up missing from my friends yard out in Lineville. I had posted an ad immediately when I got the call that he was missing. I had ONE person e-mail me telling me that they think he might be running near the train tracks (they had seen a rottie by them) I want to thank those people for offering their help, it wasn't him. However at least they were being kind enough to try. NOW on the other-hand I got about 6 other e-mails of people telling me....

(this is the exact e-mail I got from the first person)
" Hi, I stole your dog. He was outside and looked to be a good guard dog. I would return him because the reward you are offering is waaay more than that piece of sh*t mutt is, but there was a horrible accident. Total party foul on my part. I am however willing to give you the body if you'll give me half of the reward."

I couldn't believe that! At first I kind of believed them, but then again I thought it could be some incredibly sick person. Luckily for me, it was someone just fooling around... But it takes one sick and messed up individual to even say that to someone who has lost a beloved pet. I just wanted to post all this to let all of you out there searching for your animals that keep up the faith and looking for them. I mean Octavius was gone for months but I never gave up hope, I did my own "police" work and found out who had stolen him and where he was.... There is a dog theif out there named CHARLES CAMPBELL a.k.a Chuck Campbell. He is who stole my dog and sold him to some lady named Connie that worked at a local grocery store. When I found Octavius he was on a 2ft logging chain tied to a tree. No food, water or shelter. He was soo emaciated you couldn't even pull the skin from his bones and pretty much completely bald. He had puncture wounds that were infected all over his body from where he had been fighting the other 8 dogs (in the same condition) they had in their yard. I hardly even recognized my own baby and I bottled raised him from the time he was born!
You guys just please be careful. Watch over your dogs very closely. Do NOT trust ANYONE! I knew Chuck very well... Or so I thought... There are some very sick and twisted individuals in this world! So just everyone please be careful, have your dog microchipped and neutered. Your dog isn't worth anything to these slobs if they can't make money off of them by breeding!

I'm done rambling for now. I just wanted to let everyone know that Octavius was finally back at home with his family, safe, and finally putting on weight and growing his hair back again.
