I'm a developer in Los Angeles, Ca. I made this in 2010 as a personal project and as a tool to help recover stolen items in your area. At the moment, the site is documenting any craigslist posts that have 'stolen' in the title and have an image (They'll never expire here and the data should be pretty interesting later). If your craigslist ad has been posted on this site, send an email to citytheft@gmail.com and I'll give you control of that content. You can also post a stolen item here. Ok, back to work!
